Ty's career started in the U.S. Army - first as a combat-arms Armor Officer during the Cold War, then as a Software Engineering Officer. After the military, Ty worked in numerous IT leadership positions as IT Director / CTO in banking, mining, staffing, audit / attestation, automotive, and software development. In 2007, he discovered Quickbase - and life was never the same. He joined the second-largest Quickbase Service provider as their CTO, ultimately starting Low-Coders LLC - a Quickbase development firm in 2019.
Ty has developed / redeveloped more than 150 Quickbase apps / realms in dozens of industries including healthcare, solar, construction, staffing, DME, etc.
